DFI Intensive Session 2

Today I learnt about Digital Fluency Pedagogy. Having access to people, ideas, rewindable learning to harness or enhance students learning are some points Joy shared today. Brain overload today; but definitely in a good way using Google Forms, Google My maps and Google Sheets. Had many lightbulb moments. Check out the tables and graphs I made using Google Sheets and unpacking data from Candice F da @ Glenbrae School. After our session today, I am confident that data entry will be far more organised, less complicated and done in a much shorter time. Thanks Joy, Gerhard and Maria for your expertise today.

  1. Looking good Michelle. I was so sorry to miss it, but happy to feel included via your blog. I feel the same way about spreadsheets enabling life to be

  2. Talofa Michelle, I like the range of charts you have used and the way you have broken down the blog posts by year as well as given the overview as a pie graph. Go you.

PS It's Fiona rather than Joy. Not easy to remember all the names, I know!

  3. Evening Michelle, I like the way you colour-coded the years of blogging, very effective. I agree sheets will help to speed up analysis of student data especially when using conditional formatting. Where are you thinking of starting with your own sheets or with the students?

  4. Hi Michelle.
I like the way you have used a spreadsheet to show a summary of data of the student’s blog posts and then teasing it out further by recording the number of posts each month over the years. It’s really good to learn how we can analyse data in this way and enhance our pedagogy. Keep it up!
